These terms govern the use of the viuz.ca website operated by VIUZ (“VIUZ”, “we”). By visiting or using this site, you agree to the terms described below. If you disagree with any of them, we ask that you not use the site.
1. Purpose of the Site
This site presents VIUZ’s services as a social media video content agency, and lets you contact us to discuss a project. It does not, by itself, constitute an offer of contract: the terms of an engagement (scope, timeline, pricing) are agreed separately with each client.
2. Acceptable Use
You agree to use this site lawfully and not to: attempt unauthorized access to its systems; extract its content through automated means (scraping) without our written consent; use it to transmit illegal, malicious, or harmful content; or disrupt its normal operation.
3. Intellectual Property
The content of this site — text, layout, visual identity, logo, and any visuals or videos shown as portfolio work — belongs to VIUZ or to clients who have authorized our use of them, and is protected by copyright. You may view and share links to this site, but you may not reproduce its content without our written permission.
Ownership of video content produced under a client engagement (usage, distribution, and portfolio rights) is set out in the agreement entered into separately with each client, not by this page.
4. Third-Party Links
This site may contain links to third-party platforms (social media, client websites). We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those external sites.
5. Limitation of Liability
This site is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, VIUZ cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use this site, including any interruption, error, or inaccuracy in its content.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the province of Quebec and the laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
7. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page. Your continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
